The POWER Playlist

The POWER Playlist is a series of 11 framed digital illustrated posters that explore social, economic, and cultural issues affecting the Black community. Addressing topics such as police brutality, wealth inequality, mental health, and systemic injustice, the series aims to raise awareness and encourage meaningful dialogue. Each piece is paired with a song from an accompanying 11-track playlist, creating an immersive experience that allows viewers to engage with the work through both sight and sound. Incorporated into each artwork are broken vinyl records, symbolizing how many of these issues continue to repeat throughout history like a broken record. Together, the music, imagery, and symbolism invite audiences to reflect on the persistence of these challenges while considering the need for change.
